About Us

Prior to starting Concentrate in 2004, I gained extensive experience in the New Zealand technology industry, in senior technical, sales and marketing roles. My career has focussed on helping businesses successfully develop, use or commercialise technology-based products and services. This includes periods working in the United Kingdom and the USA.

My governance experience in the tech industry includes the New Zealand Hi-Tech Trust (responsible for the NZ Hi-Tech Awards), the New Zealand Software Association, Canterbury Tech and Enable Services, the company responsible for building an ultra-fast broadband (UFB) network for Christchurch. I am currently on the board of Sydenham Rugby.

I am a member of the New Zealand Institute of Management and a Chartered Member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors.

Spare time involves family, mountain biking (planning the next epic trip), boating, anything rugby, and completing endless DIY projects.

As a director of Concentrate, my focus is on growing the business and keeping the office fruit bowl well stocked. 

Before I began with Concentrate in 2005, I was a senior manager in various sales and marketing roles at Jade Software Corporation. I have also worked as a consultant for government and corporate public relations firms. Although most of my career has been focused on helping tech companies market and sell their innovations, I’ve also had experience working on capital raising, lobbying and corporate sponsorship projects.

I am involved in sports governance (formerly with Basketball New Zealand, and now with FIBA), and not for profit governance with the Bros for Change Charitable Trust and the Living Springs Trust. A member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors, I have completed the IOD’s Certificate in Company Direction.

Out of work I spend time with my wife and three children, involved in church activities, basketball, slow-motion triathlon and some very average surfing.

SURPRISE FACT

I am a former press officer for the Bougainville Revolutionary Army.

I am the HubSpot Practice Leader at Concentrate. I have extensive experience in a variety of senior sales and marketing roles and have led global marketing programs for large organisations such as IBM, as well as developed and executed business plans and marketing operations for small technology firms including start-ups.

Apart from work, I also enjoy swimming, indoor cricket, tinkering in the garage and intrepid travel with my family.

SURPRISE FACT

I am a serial-music-instrument-dabbler, learning and playing a variety of string, wind and keyboard instruments, creating sounds that vaguely resemble music.

I bring extensive digital marketing experience to the Concentrate team, having worked with a diverse range of clients across multiple industries in technology, healthcare, and finance. My skillset lies in various aspects of digital and content marketing with a specialised focus on content strategy, content creation and distribution, and campaign analysis. 

While I have specialised skills in content marketing, I'm a T-shaped marketer with knowledge across the whole digital marketing sphere. To date, the clients I have worked with have achieved impressive results such as increased website traffic, improved search engine rankings, and more lead conversions. 

SURPRISE FACT

I may sound like a Kiwi, but I am in fact a Scottish imposter! 

I bring extensive account management experience to complement Team Concentrate. The majority of my career has been spent in the UK as a business-to-business marketing consultant working within the financial sector, construction industry and utilities market. Moving to Christchurch has afforded me the opportunity to add earthquake repair management to my skillset, courtesy of my previous employment.

Being as I’m “not from round these parts” I am still exploring this beautiful country and take as many opportunities as I can to travel with my family. I must admit, however to still cheering on England at the rugby.

SURPRISE FACT

I travelled the length and breadth of New Zealand for 8 months in a campervan before choosing to settle in Christchurch.

Joining Concentrate in 2024, I filled the newly created position of Customer Success Coordinator. My passion for the service industry was found throughout my years studying at the University of Otago, where I completed my Bachelor of Commerce. Before studying,  I would be considered the jack-of-all-trades when it comes to my career. Working in a variety of positions including packhouse work, fast-food, retail, customer service, and sales, I developed an early understanding of customer-facing processes. After studying, I thought I would give sales a go starting with door-to-door charity sales and soon after moving to outbound telemarketing, where I discovered my passion for not being a salesman!

Outside of work, I enjoy playing video games, going out to cafes and restaurants, and hanging out with friends (5 of which I am currently living with).

SURPRISE FACT

I love anything space-related, I often fill my time reading books or watching videos on outer space, with a special emphasis on Neil DeGrasse Tyson’s Podcast ‘The Star Club’.

I joined Concentrate in 2019 and filled the first-ever sales role. That role includes chasing and identifying sales opportunities, and building new and long-lasting relationships with our prospective customers. Throughout my career I've worked across sales and customer service roles, from painstaking door-to-door sales to direct inbound and outbound telemarketing. This has helped me in developing a wide range of sales skills and techniques, and resulted in a proven track record of success.

I've sold hundreds of subscriptions to some of New Zealand's most renowned newspapers and magazines, represented and garnered donations on behalf of the Red Cross, and worked directly with customers in the electricity industry. I enjoy all things sales-related, and as my grandmother would say; it's my bread and butter.

Outside of work, I'm an avid socializer, (as all salespeople tend to be), and enjoy spending time with my friends and family. My interests include traveling, sports, politics, technology, and history.

SURPRISE FACT

I grew up as a keen footballer and at one point played consecutively for four different teams, both indoor and outdoor.

I am born and raised in Christchurch and have recently returned to Christchurch from the Gold Coast of Australia. Throughout my career I have been mainly sales focused having gained a diverse range of experience in many different fields including Health Insurance, Charity, Solar Panels , Utilities and Superannuation. I would love to be able to travel the world one day when the opportunity arises a few places for the list would be Monaco, Greece and Rome. When I'm not at work, you will find me at the gym, binge watching the formula one or training dressage horses.

SURPRISE FACT

I have many championship titles in Dressage and training horses was my full time job for many years!

I joined the team in 2012 as a Marketing Consultant. I assist in and manage the day-to-day strategic marketing activities and customer relationships for a number of our clients throughout the country.

I graduated from Victoria University of Wellington in 2007 with a BCA in marketing, and also received a CertDDM from the Institute of Direct Marketing UK the same year. I went on to take a marketing role at Barnardos New Zealand and then to Toshiba (Australia) Pty Ltd, where I was responsible for looking after the education sector in New Zealand. I am a member of the Canterbury Software Association and Business Mentors New Zealand.

Out of work I enjoy a range of activities – from playing video games, travelling and cooking to getting out and about, socialising, keeping active and spending time with my family.

My dad was a Member of Parliament in the National Assembly of Cambodia.

Holding a bachelors and honours degree from Canterbury University in marketing, I join the Concentrate team with a background in a marketing agency and in house marketing.

My career started out as a digital marketing freelancer working with app startups while studying at university. From there, I’ve predominantly worked within the digital marketing realm within a number of industries ranging from construction and agriculture recruitment to immigration and e-commerce. 

I was born and raised in Thailand and moved over to New Zealand in 2008 with my family. Besides work, you will find me either doing Surf Life Saving in the summer or snowboarding in the winter.

New to Concentrate and new to Christchurch.

I moved to New Zealand very recently from Sri Lanka, and this is my first time living abroad. My background is in Management and IT, and I graduated from a reputed state university in Sri Lanka in 2020, specializing in Business Systems Engineering.

My working experience expands across different industries-  Apparel, Academia, Logistics, and Property Management, and I was involved in the Sales, Marketing, Strategy, and Analytics functions in both SMEs and MNCs. Before joining Concentrate as a HubSpot Specialist, I was working as a Growth Business Analyst at a reputed Australian PropTech company.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, binge-watching tv shows, doodling, and catching up with my friends and family.

I am a reader. But when I say reading, it's all and all about Fiction – mostly mystery thrillers and psychological thrillers!

Relocating from India, July marked the beginning of my journey with Concentrate as a Hubspot specialist in Christchurch.

My educational background includes a degree in Visual Communication, which I completed in 2015.

Prior to joining Concentrate, I worked at an advertising agency and later as a Managed Services Consultant at a company focused on developing SaaS solutions for customer experience management.

When I'm not at work, I'm always on the lookout for exciting activities in and around Christchurch and eagerly planning my next weekend hiking expedition.

Surprise Fact

I am a volunteer at Christchurch City Council as a tag spotter.

I began my career as a content writer with The Small Business Company, specialising in providing content for the small business sections of banking websites. I moved on to Concentrate in 2018. Before that I spent 15 years in IT and Communications at the University of Canterbury.

I graduated from the University of Canterbury with a degree in Psychology and English in 2004, and from 2006 - 2013 I was the Editor / Lead Columnist of the New Zealand Pro Wrestling Informer.

When I'm not working I love reading, trying new recipes, seeing the countryside on foot with my dog, and spending time with my husband. My dog and I volunteer each week at a retirement village.

SURPRISE FACT

I've not only written extensively about professional wrestling, I've also spent time in the ring as a referee.

I started with an internship at Concentrate in 2021 after graduating from the University of Canterbury with a BCom degree, double majoring in Accounting and Marketing. As a Hubspot Specialist, I'm specializing in various CRM, CMS, and UX design, with consistent, and high-quality web development project delivery. The background of my Master of Commerce degree also enables me to bring value by blending theory and practicality, providing comprehensive strategies for clients to leverage their performance.

Aside from work, I invest most of my time in gym workouts, boxing, cycling, and badminton.

I am a member of Chartered Accountant NZ (provisional), and also a qualified barista able to make most kinds of coffee, with good taste!

My background is in Optimization and Applied Data Science with Postgraduate Degree at University of Canterbury.

Before I began with Concentrate in 2023, I played various roles in sales & marketing, technical support at tech companies in APAC and data scientist role previously at a top media agency in New Zealand.

I am passionate about technology, sales & marketing, statistic, programming, AI, machine learning and all forms of data and analytics. I love solving problems and then generalizing the solution. I am a firm advocate of visualization as a way of communicating complex ideas.

Besides work, I love reading, travelling, hiking, playing games, sports and hanging out with my friends and family.

I am a big fan of football, and also play many sports both outdoor and indoor such as basketball, pools, badminton, ping pong.

I started at Concentrate as an intern in 2023 and have since been working as a Digital Marketing Specialist. I am enjoying learning the ins and outs of this rapidly evolving field and gaining comprehensive knowledge about HubSpot and digital marketing.

In my spare time I enjoy being with my friends and family and enjoy the outdoors.

I have a Bachelors of Criminal Justice degree

I am a multicultural marketer with an education background in both biology and psychology. The ever-changing marketing technologies keep me inspired.

Before joining Concentrate, I have worked for a marketing agency in Canada, gaining experience with major marketing platforms including Google, Facebook & LinkedIn. Prior to that, I have co-founded a startup company.

New to New Zealand, I am amazed by the unique plants and animals here, and I enjoy watching these wonderful creatures after work.

I have translated several books about Norse mythology into Chinese.

I am an omnichannel marketer who began my journey at Concentrate in 2024 as a Digital Marketing Intern and have since transitioned into a Digital Marketing Specialist role. I am a University of Canterbury alumni, graduating with both a Bachelor of Communication, majoring in Communication Strategy and Practice, and a Master of Strategic Communication with Distinction.

Throughout my career, I have completed two other internships: one at a social media agency and another doing in-house marketing for a tech start-up. I am a born and bred Kiwi who has lived all around New Zealand. Outside of work, you can find me watching movies, at the gym, reading a book, or socializing with friends. My interests include music (r&b and hip-hop), marketing, fashion, technology, and art.

I am a sneakerhead with a growing collection of 25+ sneakers.

I'm passionate about the dynamic world of digital marketing and with a Master's in Strategic Communication, I enjoy learning about the ever-evolving realm of online engagement. I aim to craft captivating content and devise campaigns. My goal is to steer tangible outcomes through innovative and data-informed strategies.
